Internships provide students with an opportunity to build essential employability skills and gain hands-on experience in an in-demand industry under the guidance of a supervisor or mentor. Immersion in a professional setting provides participants with specific career knowledge while getting a glimpse into job trends, real-world work environments, and the skills needed to succeed within a field.
