The Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board (Board) hereby provides notice of the availability of the draft strategic and operational plan for the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2029. The Board is responsible for the planning, oversight and implementation of workforce development programs throughout the area, which includes the following 19 counties: Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor and Throckmorton. The final plan will be submitted to the Texas Workforce Commission no later than March 21, 2025. A copy of the current plan is available on the Public Information page of the Board's website. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the draft plan by contacting Melissa Mauricio at 325-795-4200 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or by e-mail at melissa.mauricio@workforcesystem.org.
Comments regarding the plan may be submitted in writing to the address below, faxed to 325-795-4300 or sent via e-mail to stephanie.woods@workforcesystem.org no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2025.
