Maintenance Mechanic 2 (Air Compressor Technician)

Buzzi Unicem USA, a major US cement manufacturer, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic 2 — Air Compressor Technician to join our team at our Maryneal, TX plant.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all maintenance and service on compressed air systems primarily Rotary Screw
- Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting faults and failures
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a good understanding of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated) plus auto drains
- Ability to be self-directed in order to perform with little supervision
- Must pass a background per company guidelines
- Must pass a drug test
Experience:
- Air compressor repair: Three years (Required)
- High School diploma or equivalent required; technical college degree preferred
- Refrigeration certification a plus
- A great work ethic and strong customer service skills
- A strong electrical/plumbing/mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communications and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills, Windows familiar
Salary $32.00 hr.
