General Description
General Trans Tech I (Construction Inspector Trainee)
Performs routine transportation operations such as material and process inspection; roadway maintenance and repair; light and heavy equipment operation; preventive and minor maintenance on equipment; traffic control; and helping the public during emergency situations. Work requires contact with private entities. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.
General Trans Tech II (Construction Inspector Trainee)
Performs moderately complex transportation operations such as material and process inspections roadway maintenance and repair; light and heavy equipment operation; preventive and minor maintenance on equipment, traffic control; and helping the public during emergency situations. Work requires contact with private
entities. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
General Trans Tech III (Construction Inspector Trainee)
Performs highly complex transportation operations such as material and process inspection; roadway maintenance and repair; operates light and heavy equipment; preventative and minor maintenance on equipment; traffic control; helping the public during emergency situations; and training other employees. Work requires contact with private entities. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
Salary: $52,045.00/year
