Taylor County is looking for a Full time Clerk -Justice of the Peace, Pct 1, Place 1. Qualified applicants must exhibit skills and experience in general office procedures, keyboarding, filing and telephone etiquette. Applicants must be able to be precise with numbers and names. Must have knowledge of computers. Position requires 40 hours weekly. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Microsoft and a typing assessment will be taken at the Workforce Center at 500 Chestnut, Suite 1100, Abilene, Texas prior to applying. Work hours would be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. The pay is $23,600.00 per year .
