Equipment Operator-CDL

$18-$21/hour DOE

Summary: The Equipment Operator drives and operates oilfield cementing equipment.


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Perform pre and post-trip inspections of a commercial motor vehicle

 Operate a commercial motor vehicle to and from the job site

 Clean and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including checking and filling fluids, pressure washing, replacing bulbs and small parts Operating a bulk plant cement trailer while on job site

 Completing all regulatory and company compliance paperwork DOT Logs, Trip Sheets, Observation Cards

 Assist in rig-up and rig-down carrying hoses (up to 75 lbs.), hammering unions together using 4 lb. hammer, climbing stairs and ladders (rig floor, pump truck operating platforms)

 Assist in running other equipment such as air compressors, trailers, boost pump trailers, filed bins, etc.


 Position Requirements:

 Class A CDL (Air Brake, Tanker and HazMat endorsements)

 High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Basic knowledge of rig operations

 Minimum of 6 months to 1 year oilfield cementing experience

 Must have 6 months to 1 year experience driving a 53ft. cement truck

 Working knowledge of high pressure pumping equipment, recirculating mixes and pneumatic bulk equipment preferred

 Ability to effectively communicate with customers, fellow employees and 3rdparty vendors

 Ability to pass Functional Capacity Evaluation, DOT Physical and Pre-Employment Drug, Alcohol and Background Screen


 Physical Demands:

 Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold) Ability to lift 75 lbs. Ability to sit, stand and kneel for long periods of time
