Supervises directly the work of employees, casting and finishing repetitive, high-volume, vitreous-china ware, in a specified portion of the Casting Department area, except for mud and dust.
Responsible for overseeing all operations involved in the casting, green-finishing, drying and dry-finishing of ware, the proper handling of molds in use, and the initial clean-up operations performed by casters.
Responsibilities include the usual management functions of: training, maintaining discipline, handling employee complaints, assuring proper payment to employee, assuring that safety procedures are followed and that housekeeping functions are carried out, planning work flow, schedules and assignments, maintains communications and monitoring results.
