Job Description:

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) is the independent law enforcement agency dedicated to maintaining the safety and security of the Texas juvenile justice system. 

• Performs advanced (senior-level) investigative work for the Office of Inspector General-TJJD.
• Collaborates with the TJJD General Counsel regarding misconduct toward youth assigned to a TJJD-operated facility resulting in a criminal investigation.
• The primary objective of each investigation is to ensure the health, safety and well-being of the alleged victim and other juveniles assigned to TJJD and to determine if the alleged abuse, neglect, or exploitation or other policy violation occurred. 
• Maintains a high level of personal and professional integrity.

Salary:  $6,868.00/Month (Depending on Experience)
