What You Can Expect
As a Specialized Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe and reliable operation of ENGIEs renewable energy assets. You will be responsible for providing onsite technical support related to project commissioning, system inspections, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
Key responsibilities
- Support daily operations and long-term maintenance of ENGIEs BESS, solar, and wind assets across various sites
- Perform hands-on technical work on power conversion systems (inverters), BESS units, DC electrical systems, solar arrays, and medium-voltage transformers
- Respond to unplanned maintenance needs and support preventive and predictive maintenance tasks across multiple sites
Qualifications
- A minimum of a two (2) year technical diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Controls (or equivalent military, trade school experience); Original Equipment Manufactures OEM training plus five (5) or more years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- At least two (2) years of hands-on experience in solar generation, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), wind generation, utility-scale power plants, or substation maintenance
- Experience with equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and routine operations in renewable energy environments
Salary $36.00-$55.17 HR.
