Quality Assurance Technician

Job Duties:

- Perform pre-operational inspection on all operating equipment and production floors before each shift.
- Complete necessary food safety and quality critical control point checks on process as outlined in the HACCP and Quality Assurance Program requirements.
- Work directly with production staff (management, supervisors, and production) on testing protocols and requirements and safety requirements. Ensure Production management is aware of any deviations from product specification or reporting requirements.
- Measure quality attributes and ensure that all CCPs meet requirements. Use this data to partner with the Operations team to ensure production meets all QA standards.
- Collect trim, muscle and carcass swab samples and manage all quality and food safety documentation for their assigned line(s).
- Assist in the execution of internal audits.
- Retain product and investigate to determine disposition under the guidance of management.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Salary: $16.00/Hour
