Mobile Crisis Outreach Workers
The Regional Crisis Worker will be responsible for the daytime crisis coverage for assigned counties from 8 to 5, five days each week.
- On-call after-hours coverage is essential.
- The Regional Crisis Worker will serve as crisis back-up if needed, will provide crisis support services for clients in Service Package 0 for assigned counties, and will provide services to post SMHF discharged clients for up to 30 days if needed.
- The Regional Crisis Worker is responsible for providing services to clients as directed by the program manager to assist case managers in delivering all prescribed rehab services.
- Falsification of any document constitutes grounds for dismissal.
- The Regional Crisis Worker will complete paperwork and data entry on the computer system in a timely manner.
- Requires QMHP credential, computer and writing skills, self-directed performance and the ability to work with mentally ill clients, families and agencies in a professional, caring manner.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's license and a driving record that is acceptable for insurability through the Center's insurance carrier.
- This position is supervised by the Regional Program Manager.
Salary: $21.84 per hour
