Betty Hardwick is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist in our Early Childhood Intervention program in Abilene.
Description:
- This position operates within the five-county service area.
- The position is responsible for Interdisciplinary team membership (IDT) in eligibility determinations, evaluations and participation in the development of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), direct and indirect therapy services, and assistive technology evaluations and services.
- This position will provide treatment in addition to consultative services for children receiving developmental services (DS) under the supervision of a fully licensed SLP.
- Services include: planning, periodic re-assessment to determine progress, written progress notes and updates, and the full range of instruction and modeling for staff Early Intervention Specialists, the caregiver, parent, and any others involved and/or concerned with the child’s developmental progress.
- Other duties include parent education and supports to enable families to reinforce the strategies of their IFSP.
- The position operates within all applicable Center, Program, and funding source requirements, working under the supervision of the ECI Director with latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- SLP must meet established performance targets Professionalism in the position is mandatory.
Pay: $26.27-$34.15/hour
Minimum Education: Master's Degree
Minimum Qualification: Texas Speech/Language Pathology License (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
