Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas has been awarded $1.2 million over three years from the U.S. Department of Education for a Rural Postsecondary and Economic Development grant to improve postsecondary outcomes for rural students. Funding will help support the expansion of career awareness and exploration initiatives for middle and high school students, college and career advising for seniors, work-based learning opportunities, career pathway mapping, and more.
