Job Description
1. Perform service tasks as assigned.
2. Keep abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sole and serviced by the company.
3. Report in complete detail as above with regards to warranty situations handled.
4. Keep work area clean, orderly and safe
6. Bring to the attention of manager any additional work required on a unit.
7. Notifies supervisor if shop equipment or vehicle is not in a serviceable condition or constitutes a safety hazard.
8. Keeps service bulletins and parts literature current and orderly at all times.
9. Conduct self in presence of customers in a manner conducive to good impressions of the company and the service department.
10. Take advantage of all opportunities to attend schools and training sessions in order to upgrade technical competence.
11. Perform other duties as prescribed by supervisor.
12. Submit timely and reasonable expense reports.
13. Keep working area clean and properly maintained
14. Inspects company equipment
15. Exhibit professional demeanor, grooming and dress at all times.
16. Conduct self in professional manner in dealing with customers, managers and fellow employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. HS Education or equivalent
2. 2-5 years continuous experience in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
3. Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
4. Furnish and maintain set of hand tools and any special tools; up to 3/4” impact required by company.
5. Maintain valid driver’s license .
6. Physically able to stand, crawl, squat, kneel, reach, pull, push, lift 50lbs, climb steps and ladders and able to manipulate hand tools
