Light Equipment Operator I
Responsible for operating department equipment as required, to complete various assignments and duties within the department.
Position receives supervision in task performance and is expected to show judgment within established guidelines.
Operates equipment including dump trucks, rollers, distributors, tractors, mowers, hand and power tools, and other equipment such as loader as assigned.
The nature of the job will require incumbent to be on call 24 hours a day, to include weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Must have High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Experience driving trucks larger than ¾ ton is preferred. Experience in operating other related equipment is desirable.
Salary: $2,164.00 per month / $12.48 per hour
